Huawei P30 renders turned up
According to tech journalist Roland Quandt, the previously surfaced Huawei P30 Pro photos were clearly fake: it would be a prototype of another device. Now a few days later the telecom insider comes with evidence. Quandt has, according to him, published official photos of the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro online.
The most striking feature is the triple camera on the back. Specific details are still missing, but according to Quandt, the Pro version sensors are equipped with 10x optical zoom. So you can zoom in without loss of quality.
During the Mobile World Congress, the largest smartphone trade fair in the world, competitor Oppo also announced such a camera module. This uses a so-called ‘periscope module’, where the sensors do not ‘stand’ in the device, but ‘lie’.
It is still unclear whether the new Huawei top device uses the same camera technique. However, according to Quandt, it is certain that the set-up consists of a primary lens, wide-angle lens, and telephoto lens. The camera of the ‘normal’ version would not get a telephoto lens.

Fingerprint scanner under the screen
The photos also show that the P30 and Huawei P30 Pro get a notch in the form of a drop of water, containing the selfie camera. The fingerprint scanner is located under the screen, where you have to place your finger on a designated location to unlock the device.
In terms of specifications, we are still in the dark. The only thing Quandt knows for sure is that the devices are controlled by a Kirin 980 processor. He also indicates that the P30 does get a headphone connection, in contrast to the Pro version.
The Huawei P30 will be announced on March 26 at an event in Paris. Naturally, Android Planet reports on this. Sign up for the newsletter or download the Android Planet app to keep up to date.
