AirPods cleaning in 3 steps
How often do you use your AirPods? Probably quite often. It is therefore not a superfluous luxury to clean your earplugs once a month for example. This is so hygienic, and possibly even the sound quality gets better.
How to clean AirPods:
- Remove the AirPods from the charging case and wipe them with a microfiber cloth. These are also known as spectacle cloths. You can optionally use water or an alcohol solution (70 percent), but be careful;
- Is the screen of the AirPod (s) dirty? Then first use a dry cotton swab to remove most dirt. To remove minor dirt, use a soft, dry brush. You can also use a toothpick, but be careful not to damage anything;
- Now that your AirPods are clean, it’s time to deal with the case. For the inside, you use a cotton swab, which you can possibly moisten a bit if the dirt doesn’t just go away. You can wipe the outside with a dry microfiber cloth.
The most important thing is not to use rough, abrasive materials. AirPods are made of sensitive material. You also have to be careful with water, as this may end up in the charging ports and the earplugs are not watertight.
