The Huawei P Smart 2019 is a new, cheap Android smartphone that has been in stores since the beginning of January. This successor offers a smarter camera and more power than the first P Smart.

Huawei will release the very first smartphone from 2019 at the beginning of January. The P Smart 2019 will be available for 249 euros from 11 January. Pre-order your device, you will also receive a free Huawei Band 3 Pro-fitness tracker. The new P Smart is available in two colors, black and blue.
Behind the Huawei P Smart 2019 is a dual camera of 12 and 2 megapixels. The second lens serves as a depth sensor, so you can take photos with bokeh effect. In addition, the background is blurred, making the foreground stand out more. According to Huawei, the device has an ‘AI Cam’, which means that image recognition is used to automatically set the correct settings for taking a photo.
The selfie camera is also smarter. The device will receive an update shortly after the release that adds scene recognition for selfies. More about the first Huawei P Smart
At the beginning of 2018, Huawei set the tone for other budget smartphones with the introduction of the first P Smart. For barely 250 euros you got a device with a large screen, double camera and smooth hardware in the house. “It is one of the most complete smartphones of the moment,” we wrote in our Huawei P Smart (2018) review. “The competition, however, will have to do its best to put the P Smart off the throne.” The device was also successful among consumers and was sold a lot in the first months of this year.
