The long-awaited collaboration between Xiaomi sale and Kruidvat seems to be finally being implemented. No fewer than 27 products from the Chinese tech company are available from today at the drugstore chain.
Kruidvat Xiaomi sale started with a striking offer
For the time being, Kruidvat mainly sells accessories and household products from Kruidvat. The range ranges from a charging cable of 3 euros to an air cleaner of 150 euros. There are some well-known products in it, such as the Amazfit smartwatch from Xiaomi and the Mi Band. Other additions are a bit more remarkable, such as a wooden train set and a smart rice cooker.
Among the 27 products, there is also one smartphone, the Redmi 6A. This budget smartphone has been available in the United States since the end of last year at various other web stores. Kruidvat sells the device for 99 euros, the same price that Belsimpel, among others, asks for it. Whether Kruidvat will soon be selling more Xiaomi smartphones is still unclear.
AS Watson, the parent company behind Kruidvat already announced a collaboration with Xiaomi almost a year ago. It was then said that Xiaomi was going to sell its smartphones at Kruidvat ‘in the short term’. Apparently, the two companies needed a little more time to set up this collaboration because only today can the products actually be found in the Kruidvat range.
Almost all Xiaomi products at Kruidvat are available immediately. If you order today before 10:00 PM, you will receive it the next business day. You can also pick up your product at one of the more than 800 Kruidvat stores in the United States.
Xiaomi new in the United States
In its home country of China, Xiaomi is now more popular than Samsung and Apple, and since last year the company has also been active in the European market. After Spain and the United Kingdom, it is now hoped to break through in the United States.
