After earlier press releases and specifications of the Motorola Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus leaked, information about the recommended retail prices has now been published. The aircraft seems to be considerably more expensive than their predecessors.
Motorola Moto G7 price leaked
The usually reliable telecom insider Ishan Agarwal reports on Twitter about the European prices of the Motorola Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus. According to information from Agarwal, the Moto G7 costs 300 euros at the release. The Moto G7 Plus is slightly more expensive and would come to the shops for 360 euros. Earlier, Agarwal leaked the prices of the Moto G7 Play and G7 Power: 149 and 209 euros respectively.
The news is somewhat remarkable because the Moto G7 would be 50 euros more expensive than its predecessor, the Moto G6 (249 euros at the release). The Moto G7 Plus may even be 60 euros more expensive than the Moto G6 Plus last year, which had a suggested retail price of 299 euros. The relatively large price difference between the regular Moto G7 and Moto G7 Plus is also striking because the Plus version according to rumors only a better camera and faster processor would have. The screen, storage, battery capacity, and software are reportedly identical.

However, the Motorola Moto G7 and G7 Plus get a renewed design with a 6.24-inch screen (2270 by 1080 pixels), which is embraced by thinner edges. The notch has the shape of a water drop and therefore takes up less space than a regular notch. Furthermore, according to rumors, the devices receive a USB port with support for fast charging, Android Pie and a dual camera for taking portrait photos.
Lenovo presents the Moto G7 series, which this year consists of four devices, most likely on 7 February. The manufacturer has planned an event in Brazil for that day, making it obvious that the new Moto G-series will see the light of day.
