We still have to wait a few months for the OnePlus 7 to be unveiled, but perhaps we already know exactly what the device will look like. OnePlus often uses designs from Oppo smartphones and maybe this is the case again.
OnePlus 7 design reveals by Oppo F11 Pro
Often there are many similarities between the latest smartphones from OnePlus and Oppo in the field of design. This is not surprising: both manufacturers are part of the Chinese company BBK Electronics, and the latest OnePlus phones are therefore very similar to the Oppo aircraft that have been presented before. Now comes Oppo with the striking F11 Pro, a phone that shows what we can expect from the OnePlus 7.
The first leaked images of the OnePlus 7 show that the smartphone has a retractable front camera, which comes out of the case when you want to make a selfie or use the face recognition to unlock. The Oppo F11 Pro also has this feature, although the front camera is in the middle of the top of the case. Alleged images of the latest OnePlus phone show that the extendable front camera is slightly more to the left.
Because the selfie camera is no longer in a notch at the top of the screen, almost the whole front can be out of the display. At the Oppo, F11 Pro is 90.90 percent of the front screen, and we only see very thin edges at the top, bottom and side. With the OnePlus 6T, slightly more than 85 percent of the front is off the screen, so the OnePlus 7 would be one step ahead in the search for a full front-filling screen.
About the OnePlus 7
As far as internal hardware is concerned, the Oppo F11 Pro and OnePlus 7 are probably very different. Although a 6.5-inch screen with a resolution of 2340 by 1080 pixels seems logical, the Oppo phone under the hood is slightly less impressive. The F11 Pro has, for example, a MediaTek Helios P70 processor and a micro USB port. The expectation is that the OnePlus 7 has the new Snapdragon 855 chip and a USB-c port.
Furthermore, little is known about OnePlus 7. Improvements for the camera are expected, but we do not know more. OnePlus usually presents its new smartphone in May or June, and often arrives at the end of the year with another device.
