The generally reliable website 91Mobiles says it has the prices and specifications of the Galaxy M20 and M10. The aircraft will be announced shortly and will probably first appear in India, after which they may also come to other countries. The Galaxy M-series has to replace the current J-series and consist of powerful but attractively priced smartphones.

The Samsung Galaxy M20 would cost around 160 euros, which is less than the Galaxy J4 Plus, the cheapest smartphone that Samsung released last year in the Netherlands. This device cost 189 euros at the release but is now available for a few tens of less.

According to the source, the Galaxy M20 gets a large 6.3-inch screen with a small notch and resolution of 2340 by 1080 pixels. The smartphone would feature the Exynos 7885 chip, which we know from the Galaxy A8 (2018) and Galaxy A7 (2018) from last year. Also present is a large 5000 mAh battery, 13-megapixel camera on the back, 5-megapixel front camera and 32 or 64GB of storage. Unfortunately, a fingerprint scanner is missing.

Galaxy M10 is even cheaper

Samsung also comes with the Galaxy M10, an even cheaper device with a suggested retail price of 110 euros. The smartphone has less powerful hardware, in the form of an Exynos 7872 chip, 3GB RAM and 32GB of storage. Reportedly, the M10 photos with the 13 and 5-megapixel camera on the back and front respectively. The display is 6.2 inches big but has a relatively low resolution of 1520 by 720 pixels. The battery with a capacity of 3400 mAh is also considerably smaller.

It is striking that both smartphones still run on Android 8.1 (Oreo), while the newer 9.0 (Pie)has been available for several months. The phones may be updated shortly after the release to the latest Android version. Samsung released a Pie update for the Galaxy Note 9 last weekend.
