The Samsung Galaxy S10 has fast charging, but the South Korean manufacturer would be planning to make charging even faster. In addition, they would work on a ‘Super Night Mode’ for the camera, to make better night photos.
Samsung Galaxy S10 charge faster
This reports the Chinese tasty Ice Universe, which has more news about announced Samsung features and smartphones. According to the insider, a Samsung executive said that the charging speed of the Galaxy S10 may be increased. With the included adapter, the S10, S10 Plus, and S10e now charge with a maximum power of 15 Watt. After the update, this would be 25 watts, which ensures that the battery will be filled up considerably faster.
Remarkably enough, 25 Watt charging is already supported by the 5G variant of the Galaxy S10. The Galaxy A70, a new midrange that will soon be coming to the United States, also has a 25-watt charger in the box. It would mean that you have to purchase a new adapter for your Galaxy S10 since the standard charger only goes up to 15 watts and is therefore not powerful enough.
Super Night Mode
In addition, Ice Universe reports that Samsung is working on a ‘Super Night Mode’ for better photos in the dark. The camera app of the S10 already has the ‘Bright Night’ function to make better night photos, but that option is automatically switched on and you cannot select it manually. The new night mode could work in the same way as Night Sight of the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL, although many more Android smartphones nowadays have a separate night mode.
In the review of the Samsung Galaxy S10 (Plus) you can read more about the camera possibilities of the flagship. The device has been available in the Benelux since 8 March for 899 euros but has since fallen slightly in price. For a loose Galaxy S10, you pay around 820 euros at the time of writing.
