Watch Apple live stream on iPhone, iPad or iPod touch
You can follow the live stream on your iDevice. Apple has prepared a special page for people who want to watch the live stream via an iDevice or Mac. If you prefer to watch the live stream on the large TV screen, you can do so via Apple TV. Take into account the Apple TV generation that you have:
- On the Apple TV 4 and Apple TV 4K, you can watch the event via the Apple Events app as soon as it is updated.
- On the Apple TV 2 and 3, you can watch the event via the special channel. The channel appears automatically if your Apple TV has installed at least software update 6.2.
- It is not possible to watch the live stream on the Apple TV 1.
Do you not see the channel? Then he might be marked as hidden. You can change this at General> Parental control. There you search for the special Apple channel, after which you press the confirmation button to display it again. It is also possible that the Apple TV channel has not yet been set up by Apple. The channel is only visible if there is a special event.
Follow the live stream of the Apple Event via Windows or Android
If you don’t have an Apple device or a Windows 10 PC at home, but you want to follow the live stream, you can. Below we explain how it works on older devices and on an Android device.
Watch Apple live stream via Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Vista or Windows XP
If you have not made the switch to Windows 10, it will take a little more effort to view the live stream of the Apple event. Follow the steps below. Thanks to VLC you can still experience everything:

Please note: this stream only works on the event evening, when the event is about to start. This method probably also works in the Linux version of VLC, but we were unable to test it on this platform.
Watch Apple live stream with Android
Android users can use VLC just like on Windows to watch the event. They do this as follows:
